Star for a Night 2012
The Star for a Night Judging Panel will audition hundreds of talented contestants before the difficult task of selecting the final performers for The Star for a Night Variety Show at the Ipswich Regent on 12th May 2012.

Biographies of the Star for a Night Judging Panel 2012
Cheryl Halliwell

Cheryl is a professional singer and has performed alongside Ronan Keating, PP Arnold and the Bee Gees to name a few. She has also been lead vocalist, dancer and vocal coach on cruise ships all over the world and is currently singing on a national tour. When not performing with a Jazz band, Country duo or as a solo artiste, she teaches for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and also for the London College of Music.

Colin Thrower
Colin started playing guitar and singing in a band while at school in the late 50s and has been playing in various bands and duos up to the present day. He owns and runs a small recording studio and is also a Musical Director for local productions and shows.
Kevin Emmanuel
As a young man Kevin was involved in musical theatre and choirs followed by a long period drumming for many local working and recording bands. He then toured in this country for many years with a professional vocal comedy and cabaret act. Now retired from performing he concentrates on his business, Eastern Entertainment Services, which after ten years has grown into Suffolk's largest supplier for all leading brands in the music industry. 
Chris Stock
Chris was born into a musical family in Essex with his sister, father and grandfather all musicians. In the 60s he played guitar in groups based in the Southend area, recorded in London studios used by the Rolling Stones and in London venues alongside famous bands including The Who. He moved to Suffolk in 1972 and has continued to play and enjoy music including spells with a 60s revival group ‘Willy & the Wallies’ and country band Wichita Linemen amongst others.
